Hey all,
I feel I’ve contributed 99% of everything here, but it’s not taking off.
So, I challenge you, use it or lose it. Use the blog or let’s pull it down.
If you have ideas for making the blog work for the Connecticut Chapter, please blog them here!
Thanks – Sean

Perhaps the better use of the chapter’s time would be to contribute members’ expertise to the STC Body of Knowledge project instead of trying to keep yet another writing-related blog going on an Internet that’s already glutted with blogs (in general) and writing blogs (in particular).
Seems to me the BOK project presents a better opportunity for technical communicators to collaborate and to build upon each other’s knowledge in a way that will contribute something truly new to profession.

Well, food for thought.
Are you a CT chapter member? If not, does your chapter have a blog?
Where has the STC publicized the BoK project and invited Connecticut Chapter members to attend?
As a final thought, how does getting rid of the chapter blog in support of a general STC BoK project promote the chapter and encourage members to pay the extra fee for attending the chapter? That is, would it be fair to say the BoK is good for the STC as a whole but of no extra value specifically for chapter-level activities?
Cheers,
Sean
